Infor LN

Use this page to create an initial Infor ERP environment for Web UI.

Note

Filling the fields is not mandatory; if you leave them empty, no initial Infor LN environment is created.

Fields Description

Host name

Specify the host name of the Infor LN server.

Infor LN Version

Choose the appropriate version of the Infor LN back-end.

BSE

Specify the path of the Infor LN Software Environment of the Enterprise Server.

Protocol

Specify the protocol to be used for the Infor LN connection between the web server and the Infor Enterprise Server.

Specify one of these types:

Rexec	Sends the username and password over the network without encryption.
BaanLogin	Is more secure than the rexec protocol because the username and password are first encrypted before they are sent over the network.
Infor SSO	Users can use this protocol to log on through Infor Single Sign On (Infor SSO) authentication. By logging on, users gain access to multiple applications. If you select this protocol, you must specify the URL that will be used for user login. Note To use Infor SSO, various settings must be defined. See the Infor10 ERP Enterprise (LN) Configure Single Sign On Guide (U9559 US).
Federation Services	Users can use this protocol to log on through Single Sign On with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). Note To use Federation Services, various settings must be defined. See the Infor10 ERP Enterprise (LN) Configure Single Sign On Guide (U9559 US).

By default, the protocol is rexec. Infor Web UI does not support the SSPI protocol.

URL for Infor SSO

The URL for user login using Infor Single Sign On (Infor SSO) authentication.

The URL must have this format:

http(s)://[hostname]:[port]/[webtop-root]/servlet/ssologin

Portnumber

Specify the port number to be used by the protocol.

When using the rexec protocol, the port number must be 512; when using the BaanLogin protocol, the port number must match the port that is configured on the Infor Enterprise system (usually 7150).

Bshell

Specify the Bshell name of the Infor LN environment to which you want to connect. Usually, this is bshell.

Command

Specify any additional command line parameters that must be used when starting the Bshell.
