The Business Intelligence Center (BIC) is a server which is capable of analyzing scan output of OnePoint Diagnostics Services automatically.
Infor's consultants and engineers regularly update the BIC with their knowledge and expertise. The system can therefore be considered as a "perfect consultant" who remembers everything, and who systematically reviews all important configuration settings of your Baan software environment, pin-pointing weaknesses and areas which can potentially be optimised.
If you have executed one of the OnePoint Diagnostics Service scans, send it to the Business Intelligence Center via e-mail. The address is: se.scans@infor.com.
The format of the scan output must be valid. If you temper with the scan output, chances are it cannot be processed. Therefore submitted scan output must be in the original format as generated by the OnePoint Diagnostics portal.
Valid scan output is processed, resulting in a report with recommendations for optimization. This report is normally not sent to you directly. You may be contacted by a support engineer or by Infor Enhanced Support Services (se.info@infor.com) for follow-up.
