How to specify the correct address in your browser

If the OnePoint Diagnostics listener is running on the server, you can start using OnePoint Diagnostics by means of an Internet browser. The steps are as follows:

1. Open your browser on the server where OnePoint Diagnostics has been installed, or on any client PC linked to the server via your network.
2. Type the correct address in the browsers' address bar.

The general syntax for the address to be typed in the address bar is:

For <servername>, substitute the name of your server. For <serverport>, substitute the port number on which the OnePoint Diagnostics listener has been started. The default port number is 9030 (for information on port numbers see the installation instructions).

E.g. if your servername is "iglo", and you have started the OnePoint Diagnostics listener on port 9030, you will type:

If you don't have your DNS configured properly, you may need to use an IP-address instead of server name. So an alternative syntax is:
