DB2 related connection types include: DB2.
There are two different templates for connection type DB2: db2 and odbc_db2. Connection details for each template are explained next.
LIBRARY_PATH
Depending on the platform it is mandatory to enter the path to the DB2 libraries.
Failure to enter the correct path to the libraries may result in a pop-up window during a scan on the server where OnePoint Diagnostics is installed. The pop-up window will mention that DB2 libraries cannot be found in the path.
DB2PATH/DB2DIR
Enter the correct value for DB2PATH/DB2DIR (the location of your DB2 software environment) in this field. Ask your DB2 DBA if you don't know the DB2PATH/DB2DIR value for the database you want to scan.
DB2INSTANCE
Enter the correct instance name.
DATABASE
Enter the database name of the DB2 database where your Baan data is stored.
USERNAME, PASSWORD
Enter the DB2 user name and password to connect to the database. The user must have at least dba read permissions on all Baan and system tables.
PATH
Normally you leave this field blank. Theoretically you could use this field to extend the environment variable PATH - visible only to the OnePoint Diagnostics application. However use it exclusively if explicitly instructed by a support engineer.
DB2CLIINIPATH
Normally you leave this field blank. However use it exclusively if explicitly instructed by a support engineer.
If a DB2 ODBC driver is present on your system you can also choose the template odbc_db2 to connect to the DB2 database (otherwise, choose the template db2, see above).

DSN
Enter the ODBC Data Source Name (DSN). Ask your DBA for the Data Source Name. You may also be helped by the section How to determine the ODBC Data Source Name.
