VERSION(S): E-Service Remote 2.0 SITUATION IDENTIFIED IN: E-Service Remote 2.0 SP1 SITUATION DESCRIPTION: ESR 2.0 sp1 does not work properly if the client machine(user) is using Windows 2000.It was not possible to open master data and certain options. Synchronize Master Data application was giving an error when it was run. SOLUTION DESCRIPTION: E-Service Remote 2.0 SP1 is working perfectly when Windows 2000 is used as a client.It is possible to run Synchronize Master Data application without any problems on the web server. The solution can be found on the Support FTP site. It contains 2 files. 1 - readme.txt : The solution description. 2 - V2.0sp1p0003d27122001-B50b.zip - For E-Service Remote customers connecting to Baan ERP 5.0b 3 - V2.0sp1p0003d27122001-B50c.zip - For E-Service Remote customers connecting to Baan ERP 5.0c Now take the following actions to install this solution: Copy this zip file to your local web server and extract the files from the .zip file to a temp folder. The following files will be present : 1) VirtualOffice.asp Copy this file to the \EE11\E-ServiceRemote - Replace old one. 2) Download.asp Copy this file to the \EE11\E-ServiceRemote - Replace old one. 3) EServiceRemote.cab Copy this file to the \EE11\E-ServiceRemote - Replace old one. 4) SynchronizeMasterData.exe Back up or delete the file - "SynchronizeMasterData.exe" in the directory: \Baan E-ServiceRemote\SynchronizeMasterData .Copy this file into the directory. NOTE: Before opening Internet Explorer in the Windows 2000 machine,check the following: Using RegEdit utility ,navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DataFactory\HandlerInfo.
