For a Purchase Requisition ( created through the wizard) and sent to buyer for assistance, if the item ordered is not linked to the supplier in the set-up, at the time of quick invoicve entry the supplier is not able to enter 'Item present in the requisition' as its not displayed in the drop down list. So you may simulate the problem like this: * Go to the requisitioner role and create a requisition through the wizard * Submit the requisition for buyer's assistance. * In the buyer role enter some part number * Submit the requisition. * Go to the suppier's role/ Quick Invoice Entry and get the requisition details. * When the Supplier tries to enter the part number through the drop down, the part number entered by the buyer will not be in the list. He will not be able to correct the part number. 2. Selecting the ERP system button in Document rule, results in error. You can simulate the problem; Go to Eprocurement / E-requistion / Document rules and create a new document rule. When filling in a date like 01012001 and click on the option "Send via ERP system" either of the things happen : a) An error is displayed when the ERP option is checked. b) Doesn't allow the user to check on the Checkbox. c) Does not display the other options, when the ERP system is checked. When you fill in the date like 01012001 and enable Maintain Receipt via clicking no error appears, only when you try to Submit the record, the correct error message is displayed. So you may simulate the problem like this: * Go to the Manager pages. * Go to the E-Requisition. * Go to Document Rules.Add a new document rule. * You will find the 'Effective date', 'Expiry date' and 'Send Via ERP' as options. * Enter an invalid date(s) and click on send Via ERP Check box provided. Ideally, it should give an error when the user clicks on submit button. (Like the 'Maintain Receipts' or 'To Consolidate' scenario ). But, here when the ERP option is checked, it fives an error /warning which is wrong. Note: To simulate this Defect, we need to check that the error message is displayed at the appropriate places. 3. It is not possible to delete the Requisition that have already been closed. When a requisition is changed to the status "Closed" by executing the step "Export Invoice" in the Finance role, the closed requisition is shown in overview of closed requisitions at the Buyer/Requisitioner role, but cannot be deleted in the "Delete Received Requisition" in the Buyer role. The status of the requisitionheader is status 2 ('CurrentRequisition'.) in the Requisition header table. When changed the table value to status 3 ('ClosedRequisition'), the requisition is also displayed at the "Delete Received Requisition" option at the Buyer role and can be deleted. So you may simulate the problem like this: * Go to the Buyer Role. * From the left pane choose the option to 'Delete Received Requisition' * Choose the range of Requisition IDs and Prefix(s) for the requisitions that are already closed. * Press the 'Remove' button * None of the already 'Closed' requisitions are deleted 4. When selecting the requisitioner prefix to delete related requisitions with the status "closed", no requisition is deleted. Only when selecting a specific closed requisition ( or the range), it can be deleted. So you may simulate the problem like this: * Go to the Buyer Role. * From the left pane choose the option to 'Delete Received Requisition' * Don't select any range of Requisition IDs * Choose prefix ( or a range of it) for which there already exist a Closed Requisition * Choose the date. (In case you want to delete today's requisition, choose the date one day hence) * Press the 'Remove' button * None of the already 'Closed' requisitions are deleted =================================== SOLUTION DESCRIPTION: The solution can be found on the Support FTP Site.
