However, when clicking on Item Type and selecting the same value again (By going through the list of enum option with the mouse pointer !!) this will happen too. The standard program fires the when.field.changes section. (triggered by BW - I think) But that is not needed. It's 'ugly'. And here it is wrong! User can only run if their login name matchs with the user name which is encrypted with the password. If that is not the case, the password field becomes empty and users should fill in the password when loging on the Baan application. This new functionality have created the following problem. The Baan Job Daemon service runs under LocalSystem account and the jobd.bwc file is configured beforehand (evt. via de Baan NT Manager) and the password is saved under an account other than the LocalSystem account. When the jobd.bwc is executed by the the Baan Job Daemon Service (jobd.exe) on Windows NT, the password field should be filled by user since the username (account) who created jobd.bwc may not match with the username of the user. It is suggested that the user should not be confronted with the password dialog when the Baan Job daemon is started. Workaround Test Procedure Make a bwc file using the -giveaway option (/config -giveaway="") for a colleage (for another account than yours) with his/her Baan password specified. The colleage should be able to logon to Baan on his/her Windows NT account. If this function call fails, BECS will not try to create a bwc file, and it will not pretend anymore as if the bwc file is created. Instead users get appropraite error message. Test Procedure Use BECS to create a bwc file in a directory which contains strange characters. Either a bwc file should be created or an error message should be displayed. BECS should not display a bec file in its view while the creation of the file is not successful. If the public services are enabled in BECS, the corresponding public services controls in the property pages for the bwc file should be enabled.
