SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

It will now be possible to display the drawing attached to an engineering item revision by clicking the button "Drawing" or

using <Shift><Ctrl><D>.

The drawing file name will be read from the above session (tiedm1101m000) in form 3.

This file should exist in the directory as mentioned in the session "Maintain EDM Parameters" (tiedm0100m000) in the

field 'Directory Name for Drawing". Furthermore, the field "Display Drawing" indicates which application program should

be used to display the drawing.

In BW mode, this application must exist on the client. The name of the application should be the executable name and

should be in the PATH.

Note:

1.) It is required to have a /temp directory on the client since the application puts the file in this temporary directory for

reading and keeps it there.

2.) For this solution, it is required to have the DLL "ottdllbw" in the $BSE/tools/{...} directory. Please check if this

exists on your system and if not, contact the the support center.

The same document number as in tfgld102.docn is also used in tpprc3400m000. All the cdoc-fields for the commitments have

been aligned left.

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

If user wants to use 32 characters code, the domain length of the tppdm.code has to be modified.

The program takes now the length of the tppdm.code into consideration.

sometimes possible (in those cases where there is more than one customer by project) to select and maintain a customer who

has no connection with the original project. Also, the session type is not correct for session tppdm6501s000. A wrong

display type is used.

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

When zooming from these sessions on the customer field to the session tppdm6501s000, the system now only shows the

customers connected to the current project.

Also, the session type was changed to correct the problem for the wrong display type. The session can only be delivered

via a dump. Modifications in the software components have been marked with DF11790-1.

SITUATION IDENTIFIED IN: tpptc0170m000 "Maintain Budget Ajustments"

SITUATION DESCRIPTION:

When using session tpptc0170m000 ("Maintain Budget Ajustments") and then zooming to all the sessions for all the different

cost types, the following problem occurs.

After inserting a budget adjustmentline and saving it, the budget adjustmentline becomes a normal budgetline and the

marker disappears. This occurs sometimes, not always.

Other problem:

Also for activity budgets, the first screen that is shown in tpptc2111m000 "Maintain Activity Budget (Labor Lines)" is empty

when the first activity for this project in table tppss200 is a milestone.

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

The first problem was caused by indexes that were not unique. These indexes on table tpptc071 have been changed. Now the

adjustmentlines are saved correctly. Because changes to a table index are Not not delivered the customer has to solutions to

solve this problem:

1 Wait for the next software patch which has the correct table index and install it

2 Or for the time beiing, copy the table to the Own-Vrc of the customer and change the index yourself.

In case you choose for solution 2, please follow the next steps:

- Start session ttadv4120m000 (Maintain Table Definitions) and select table tpptc071.

- Copie the table tpptc071 to the Own Vrc of the Customer.

- Select option 'Indices'. There are three indexes on table tpptc071. The problem lies in index 2 and three of table tpptc071.

- Add the following fields to index 2: cpla (index field 8) and cact (index field 9).

- Add field: cspa (index field 9) to index 3.

- Run session ttadv5210m000 to 'Reindex the Table'.

- CAUTION: In this session only reindex the table tpptc071 for the Own-Vrc. So fill the fields of this session correct !

{In case you do not handle correct you can damage tables !!}

- After reindexing the table the error will not occur.

Note:

This change has only been made in the tp3.1_b7 Vrc. For the B40_b2 and B40_c Vrc it was already solved under

ID 1022554 !! The tabel defintion is dumped in the B40_b2 !

Other problem:

The first screen in tpptc2111m000 is now always filled with the first set of budgetlines for the current project. This

occurs only in case you work with an activity budget. Because the customer does not work with an activity budget the

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

When a Cost Analysis Code is deleted of a project also the data with indicator "Total m" is deleted for that specific

project. This indicator of the mainproject-total occurs in session tpptc3540m000 "Display Budgetted Project Costs" and

in session tpptc3541m000 "Display Budgetted Cost Component Costs".

Also the session tpptc3200m000 "Budget Cost Analysis" is changed for the recalculation of the mainproject-total. Because

after deleting of a Cost Analysis Code of a subproject the total amount of the related mainproject (with another projectcode)

helds the amount of the subproject still.

SITUATION DESCRIPTION:

Cost rates of labor costs are calculated incorrect when using hourly wage types, where the surcharge field is not equal to

0%.

For example:

Employee with a cost rate of 20,-, surcharge hourly wage type is 100%, so the cost rate in form 1 in tpppc2131m000 has to

be 40,- (100% plus 100% of the hourly wage type).

The first time using this particular employee and hourly wage type the cost rate was calculated correct (40,-). The second and

third time the cost rate was 80,-.

After testing several hourly wage types, this problem always occurs using it the second and following times. In the example

the multiplying factor was 400%, in other tests I got

a factor 484%.

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

The new cost rate was only calculated the first time you entered a Labor Line. But for every line it should be calculated

according to the Hourly Wage Type.

control is the activity budget. The status of the activity should not be reset because the budget lines with status free will not

The price searching was done too early with quantity = 0. Now the reading of the price is done at a later moment. After

entering or changing of the subcontractingcode only the price is read when the quantity is filled. The price searching is

done only when the quantity is entered for the first time on a new line. So when the quantity is changed from 0 to another

value the price searching is done but not when i.e. quantity 3 is changed into 5. The reason for this construction is that a

manually entered (or changed) price may not been changed by the price searching mechanism.

This modification is done for the budgetting of material, equipment and subcontracting.

Also a modification is done for the budgetting of items that the field Quantity is only filled by the fields Length / With and

Number of Units when the field Quantity has no value. In the case that Quantity is already filled, no recalculation is done.

In session tppin4264m000 "Create Invoices" the final invoices are created in two steps. Step 1 creates invoice numbers for

the temporary invoice type 'Make final'. This temporary invoicenumber is updated in the cost history. After all temporary

invoices are created, then step 2 is done for creating the final invoices. During step 2 the final invoice numbers were not

updated. This is changed, now the final invoice numbers are updated in the cost history of the five costtypes.

NOTE: During the updating of the cost history, transactions with an old and wrong 'final invoicenumber' are updated with a

final invoicenumber of the last creation run. Because the temporary invoice numbers are use more then one time. For example,

all old transactions with a 'final invoicenumber' "1" are updated with the final invoicenumbers of the last invoice run.

avoided by saving after each two lines, or manually adapting the serial number.

SITUATION DESCRIPTION:

When coping a standard item to a project item in sub session tppdm6113m000 the unit set field is copied correctly. However,

if you do not save it immediately but tab through the fields the unit set field changes to the default unit set (from the

General Parameters tppdm000).

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

When a project cost object is copied from the standard or an other project cost object the unit set is copied also and not

taken from the Genaral Parameters.

SITUATION DESCRIPTION:

When you want to delete a project cost object and there is a standard cost object with the same code the system warns the user

if the object is used in a budgetline, commitment- and/or history. However, this message does't tell to much, it is only one

line and it stops in the middle of a word.

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

A part of the question code was lost in laguages 1 2 and 4

SITUATION DESCRIPTION:

When a subproject is linked to a mainproject and the budgettype of the mainproject differs from default in General Parameters

the system gives a message. It's not possible to link the subproject to the mainproject without changing the defaults.

The message comes too early. The same applys for the cost controllevels.

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

The system preforms now the check during update to the database.

SITUATION IDENTIFIED IN : Confirm Planned PRP Purchase Orders (tipcs5220m000)

SITUATION DESCRIPTION :

PRP purchase orders are not getting confirmed via the session " Confirm PRP Purchase Orders" whereas manual confirmation

of PRP purchase orders is possible if the purchase price is zero but when the purchase amount is not zero.

A PRP purchase order cannot be confirmed only when the purchase price and the purchase amount are zero but if the

purchase amount is not zero and the purchase price is zero the PRP purchase order can be confirmed.

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION :

It is now able to confirm the PRP purchase orders through the session " Confirm PRP Purchase orders" when the purchase

price is zero.

This solves the defect DF14106

SITUATION IDENTIFIED:

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

When the field "Scale Unit Width" has been on "2" in tccom5105m000, the information displayed in tppss2106m000 is much

less than when this field is set to "1".

Possibly the daynumbers in the subsequent box can be aligned to the left but this seems to be done via the drawing of the

planning board in Tools.

Problem has been solved in Chart Manager.
