SITUATION IDENTIFIED IN: Maintain Engineering Item Revisions (tiedm1101m000)

SITUATION DESCRIPTION:

(Reported for NT Backoffice build 15.8)

When using the session "maintain engineering item revisions" ( tiedm1101m000), and trying to launch a drawing, it gives

the following message:

" ttstpvtemul.

Shell functionality not supported by Windows NT"

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

It will now be possible to display the drawing attached to an engineering item revision by clicking the button "Drawing" or

using <Shift><Ctrl><D>.

The drawing file name will be read from the above session (tiedm1101m000) in form 3.

This file should exist in the directory as mentioned in the session "Maintain EDM Parameters" (tiedm0100m000) in the

field 'Directory Name for Drawing". Furthermore, the field "Display Drawing" indicates which application program should

be used to display the drawing.

In BW mode, this application must exist on the client. The name of the application should be the executable name and

should be in the PATH.

Note:

1.) It is required to have a /temp directory on the client since the application puts the file in this temporary directory for

reading and keeps it there.

2.) For this solution, it is required to have the DLL "ottdllbw" in the $BSE/tools/{...} directory. Please check if this

exists on your system and if not, contact the the support center.

SESSION ERROR IDENTIFIED IN: Maintain Production Batches (pspmg0101m000)

PROBLEM TEXT:

When using End Items with Formula 0.5 pcs ( conversion factor of 1 rounded as 0.01 ) then when entering a batch entry

with qty=100 then a message comes up :

"Quantity ordered incorrect; Possible values are: previous: 100, next: 100.2". Still the min. batch size is 1 and 100 is a

multiple, so this message should not come up.

SITUATION IDENTIFIED IN: Maintain Production Batches (pspmg0101m000)

SITUATION DESCRIPTION:

If one enters in psfrm0112m000 (Co and Byproducts) a material , and make a link to an operation

(operation number UNEQUAL to the operation number from the session psfrm0111m000 (Materials), then a

problem in GUI: No message while validating routing and formula.

In session Production Batch Maintenance (pspmg0101m000) on the routing field the

GUI system collapses without any message (it just aborts the session/application).

Also, in ASCII mode, an incomplete message along with B-Shell message is generated.

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

One argument (previously commented one) added and the message (pspmg010139) is changed.

VERSION(S): psB40_b, psB40_c

SITUATION VERIFIED IN: Maintain Estimated Co/By-Products (pspmg0112m000)

SITUATION DESCRIPTION:

When modify the cost allocation(s) for Co/By-Products so that the sum of allocations for Co/By-Products is 100 % (i.e. cost

allocation to main item is 0 %) a message is sometimes displayed saying "Sum of all positive cost allocations cannot exceed

100 percent " even though the sum of all allocations is 100 %.

(This problem only occurs if the user attempts to save changes (to pspmg012.ctll) immediatly.

It is possible for the Formula Item cost allocation to equal zero, this can cause errors in cost price

calculation and financial transactions.

SOLUTION DESCRIPTION:

The value of variable hold.ctll (old value of pspmg012.ctll) is reset in the after input section of the program.

The source has been modified so only correct messages are shown. Furthermore, because of complications in cost price

calculation, a formula item can not now have a cost allocation equal to zero.
