1. In case of the demand is existing within planned period with

non-working day which was set by company calendar, planned MPS order

This means duplicate order release of Planned MRP Order.

2. Also, requirement start date of rough material requirement date and

requirement finish date were generated face in the opposite side.

Solution Description :

When using session "Generate Master Production Schedule"

(timps3201m000) to generate Rough Material Requirement the finish date

becomes before start date of the requirements when the plan period

does not have workable days.

Also an other problem was called, which says:

When there is a demand within a mps-period without workable days

both mps-production orders and Rough material requirements are

generated for the same demand.

This is the way MPS works.

If there is a demand on a holiday period, production orders are moved

outside the holiday.

After then MPS generates critical material requirement, MPS will do

this for all planned receipts which are NOT consumed.

Production orders consume planned receipts for their own period.

When in session (timps1101m000) Maintain Plan Codes the field Backward

Planned Receipt Consumption has a value (1 period + 1 day, by rule of

thumb) also planned receipts within this period of time will be

order line. For the given supplier and item a contract exists. This

contract is based on a price-group and contains a price-list. But the

system shows a different price than the price expected from the

price-list.

The problem occurs when the contract is based on a price-group and the

purchase price unit is an alternative unit. When inserting a purchase

orderline the price was taken from the contract's price list. But this

price was first altered by a conversion factor.

Solution Description :

In case of a contract's price-list this conversion factor was taken

from table UNITS. This was not correct. The table ALTERNATIVE UNITS

will be read.

which is unreleased and without a BOM, the expired revision will be

selected with the message about the EBOM for the unreleased revision.

IF a revision exists (and is expired) and if there is another revision

with a EBOM (and does not contain the component to be replaced), then

the E-item is not selected.

In other words, always the last revision for an E-item is selected. If

this revision satisfies the order lines condition, then that revision

will be a part of the ECO line (even if it is expired). This is true

because even if the revision is expired, the present structure of the

physical item (standard/customzied) linked to the E-item contains the

BOM structure of the expired revision. If there exists a revision

(created manually or by an ECO) after the expired revision and if

All situations are related in case of a new sales order postion is

words, a situation where position 10 exists and position 20 is being

inserted.

1. Generic NON-phantom, PCF parameter identifying item code = Yes

If the item code does not change after generation of the

structure, and if this item code already exists for the project,

then a new structure will not be generated but the existing

structure and variant information would be imported. By doing

this, the new variant information is lost in the sales order

position.

The project parts do not get updated if that particular item code

already existed as a part.

2. Generic NON-phantom, PCF parameter identifying item code = No

The project part gets updated in case the item is repeated on

another sales order position since a new item code gets generated.

New item codes get generated if those already exist for the

project becasue of the PCF parameter.

The BOM structure gets created and updated as per the constraints.

3. Generic Phantom, PCF parameter identifying item code = No

Project part is same as the main phantom item. If the phantom

item gets updated (in its name), then the project part also gets

updated with the new code.

For std. item in project, the variant on the sales order is

blanked. If the re-generate session is run for this position,

then the variant comes blank in the sub-session 'Generate Product

Variant Structure for Project' - it is required to note the

variant number from the other positions.

If the variant is re-configured to eliminate one item, the sales

order is updated with the new items (the invalid component is

removed). Project parts get updated and the existing items get

incremented.

Since history is maintained for all items on the sales order

lines, the variant is blanked in the 'customized item data' for

invalid items. If these items get re-validated for another

configuration, the variant number is linked again.

4. Generic Phantom, PCF parameter identifying item code = Yes

In that case the system does not calculate the correct planned start

date ( it should calculate the planned start-date by using the planned

start-date is calculated correctly.

In session tisfc0101m000 the calculation of the start-date happens (in

During the mutation of the sales order a project is generated using a

dmmy article MACHINE (manufactured item on order).

Next a standard material listis interactively copied to this dummy

production orders are confirmed and finalized. The production order is

released. Then the goods are received using session

"Maintain Receipts" (tdpur4120m000).

From the marked receipt line subsession "Maintain Estimating

For the latter session a new object was obtained recently. However, it

is not possible to enter the material issue for the production.

A second order that does not use ticst0105m000 gives no problems. The

anonymous production orders work fine as well.

This works fine for forward planning.

Solution Description :

Safety time will be appropriately considered while generating MPS

orders. In the maintain session, the use of the <CTRL> R option will

not consider safety time. Only the order lead time will be considered

as per the message displayed on depressing the option keys.
