This document is a conversion guide that describes how to convert LN Enterprise Modeler models from previous versions such as, Infor Baan IV, Infor Baan 5 or Infor LN to a later version of Infor LN.

You can reuse the business processes and other LN Enterprise Modeler content of a Baan IV, Baan 5 or previous LN version to your latest version of LN by converting the models.

In this context, a component/component release is comparable to an Infor release, for example, LN, Baan IV, Baan 5 .

To carry out a conversion between two Infor LN or Baan environments, the sessions of both environments must be accessible.

After importing the generated export file of session codes used by the previous versions, you can proceed with the next tasks for the conversion.

The next step is to export the relevant models from Baan IV, Baan 5 or the previous version of LN and import the file into the relevant company.

Replace the previous version application components by the mapped new LN components

If multiple companies or computer systems are used and you can reuse the conversion data that is defined in the Conversion of Applications (tgbrg5150m000)session. Export the data that is related to the session code conversion and import these in other companies or servers.
