Guide to online help
Depending on how the documentation for your product is structured, the online help can consist of one help system or a collection of help systems, called a documentation library. This affects your options for searching and printing.
This table shows the icons, navigation tools, and links that you will use:

Navigate backward and forward through previously viewed topics. |

Hide or display the table of contents. |

Return to the start page of the help. |
| Home/… | Breadcrumbs at the top of each topic show the path from the start page to the current topic, or, in the case of help libraries, the path from the start page of the individual help system within the library to the current topic. |

Copy the URL of the currently displayed topic or the currently displayed search results page. You can also right-click any link in a topic, a search results list, the main table of contents, or a section-specific table of contents, and select . |

Click this icon to open the PDF file. If the help for your product is a single help system, the PDF for that help system is displayed, if available. If the help is a documentation library and you are viewing a topic, the PDF associated with that topic is displayed. If no PDF is associated with the topic you are viewing or if you are not viewing a topic, click this icon to view a list of available PDFs. You can download or print the PDF file. |

Click this icon to print the current topic. |

This icon is displayed if the help for your product is a single help system, or if the help is a documentation library but you are not currently viewing a topic. Click the icon and specify your search terms. To perform an exact phrase search, surround the search terms with quotation marks. To perform Boolean searches, use Boolean operators, such as AND, in your searches. For example, specify item AND cost to return only results that contain both terms. |

This icon is displayed if the help for your product is a documentation library and you are currently viewing a specific topic from one of the help systems within the library. Click the icon and select or . Use to search the entire documentation library. Use to search within the help system that contains the current topic. To perform an exact phrase search, surround the search terms with quotation marks. To perform Boolean searches, use Boolean operators, such as AND, in your searches. For example, specify item AND cost to return only results that contain both terms. |
