Infor
Infinium Fixed Assets Release 13.1.0.2
will be available for you to download from Infor365 Online Support
on April 24, 2008.
Release 13.1.0.2 supports the legislative changes outlined in the
Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 (H.R. 5140), which was signed into law
in February, 2008. This release includes the following regulatory
changes:
- New first year 50% bonus
depreciation for qualifying property
- Increase in the Section
179 expense limit for 2008 of $250,000, with a new threshold of
$800,000
- New limitations on
depreciation deductions for luxury automobiles for 2008
- Increase in automobile,
truck, and van limits for the first tax year by $8,000 for
automobiles if 50% bonus depreciation is claimed on a new vehicle
Release
13.1.0.2 also includes quality improvements AND Release 13.1.0.1
regulatory changes and quality improvements.
Note: If you plan to take the 50% bonus for assets with a 2008
installation date, we recommend that you do not close tax books that
contain assets with an installation date of 2008 before you upgrade to
Release 13.1.0.2.

13.1.0.2 download page on Infor365 Online Support. Additionally, to
obtain this release, follow these instructions:

Prerequisites
for Installation
Before
you can install Release 13.1.0.2 of Infor Infinium
Fixed Assets, the following software must exist on your system:
- IBM® OS/400 operating
system Version 5 Release 3 Modification 0 (V5R3M0) or higher on a
System i machine
- Infor Infinium
Application Manager Release 2.1 APC-C
- For Web installations,
Infor WebTop Server Release 4.2 or higher and the latest Infor
WebTop Server patch. See Master Solution Record MSWT4.2 or MSWT4.3
on Infor365 Online Support for information about the latest patch.
- Infor Infinium
Fixed Assets Release 13.1
- Infor Infinium
General Ledger Release 13.1 or higher
- Infor Infinium
Payables Ledger Release 13.1 or higher
- Infor Infinium
Project Accounting Release 12.1 or higher
- The latest IBM PTF -
Refer to AM Solution Record DD5. To view Solution Record DD5 on
Infor365 Online Support, select KNOWLEDGEBASE
and then select the Infor Infinium
menu option. On the screen displayed, select INFAM under Infinium Platform and then find Solution Record
DD5.

To

Online Support, select KNOWLEDGEBASE and then select
the Infor Infinium menu option. On
the screen displayed, select INFFA under Infinium
Financials and then find Master Solution Record MS13.1.
